If I could pick one phrase to describe Diane, it would be “Diane truly listens deeply to others.” Listening deeply to others is a gift she extends effortlessly. That skill coupled with vast knowledge and experience in the human fitness arena allows Diane to successfully help her clients reach their goals in all areas..
Diane has the ability to help each person figure out just were they would like to improve their over all health, whether it is eating better, a new exercise regimen, stress relief, or just having more fun in life. Diane rather than preach – asks the questions that allow people to find their own answers, after which she then works with you to find ways to reach your goals.
It is easy to work with Diane because she is truly non judgmental and helps you value yourself as you are first and then helps you on your program, With Diane I was able to break down change into small increments that were doable. This allowed me to have small successes, which kept me going as I established new routine for health and well being.
A simple example would be that with Diane I realized that I needed more time outside in nature to play and feel joy. After that we established that for me to get out side in the morning I would have to be willing to turn off the computer and not answer all the e-mail etc. at once.. Thru her20coaching I was able to see how I was constantly working for others and not giving time to myself. We then decided that I would not go on the computer until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and use that time as down time. My accountability came from sending her an e-mail the night before stating I would be doing this.
This might sounds small – but it is and was a huge step for me. Previously I would have set a goal to turn off the computer every day until 12:00 and would have set myself up for failure. This way I have experienced success and fun. This is how Diane approached every aspect I wished to change. She listened, asked questions, gave suggestions ad then we worked together to affected change in small, measurable pieces.
I highly recommend Diane for any change you wish to make on your way to a more balanced, healthy, joyful life.

Over the last six years I have gained over 50 lbs. and have felt and looked progressively worse. I was sick and tired (literally), worried about my long term health and ashamed of my appearance. A friend suggested a personal fitness trainer and I began working with Diane seven months ago.
Because of Diane’s program, I have gained an in-depth understanding of my physical condition and she has helped me tailor a weight loss program specific to my needs, including customized exercise and meal plans. The one-on-one exercise programs are varied (I never feel bored with my routine) and challenging (including strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training). The meal plans are also realistic and sustainable because they are based on foods I enjoy.
There are no gimmicks or quick fixes to weight loss. Diane’s program is based on challenging physical work and healthy eating plans which are the cornerstone of any effective weight loss program.
Diane is also helping me uncover the emotional connection to my weight gain and my previous failed attempts at weight loss. Diane is helping me understand what is keeping me from losing weight and also helping me find the tools to release any mental or emotional blocks I have to weight loss.
Diane is really committed to me and my success. It has been a difficult journey for me but her positive attitude and energy has helped me stay on track. I have made a lot of positive changes (only with her assistance) over the last seven months and am encouraged about losing weight, feeling good about my physical appearance and being healthy! For most of my life, I had been very committed to fitness and worked out regularly. But when the circumstances in my life changed – marriage, two children and a demanding job – I found that my daily routines changed, my priorities shifted and I no longer made time for working out. Instead of regular work-outs, I “regularly” ate on the fly, I “regularly” got too little sleep and I “regularly” found excuses NOT to exercise. I knew something had to change so I sought Diane’s expertise.
During our first meeting, Diane assessed me to determine the best and most flexible fitness program for me. She considered my work habits, eating habits and past fitness regimens. She wanted to clearly understand the obstacles that kept me from attaining the fitness goals that I wanted to achieve. Diane conducts our sessions in a professional manner and is intent on using proper technique to avoid injury. She has so much energy and enthusiasm herself that she pushes me to toward my goals every time we meet. She has made it her mission to educate me about my personal physical fitness and my nutrition. She continually pushes me to the next level of strength and achievement. Each time I meet her challenge, I feel a new pride in myself that I had not felt for quite some time. After just three months with Diane, I found that I was a size smaller, more toned than I had been in 10 years and feeling great! After having two children and two c-sections, my body was a wreck! I decided that it was time to get back in shape and do something about the extra pounds and flab. I turned to Diane for help because she is a mom too and would understand exactly what happens to your body after having kids! When I decided to start training with Diane, not only did I want to feel good about my body but I wanted to set a good example for my children about health and fitness. How could I expect them to take care of their bodies if I let mine fall by the way side! It was time for me to take some time to take care of myself.
Working with Diane has been a dream! Not only does she tailor each workout to your fitness needs but she makes it fun to workout. In only a couple weeks, I started to see results. My clothes started to fit better and I had friends and family commenting on how great I looked! I think the defining moment of my success was when I bought a pair of jeans in my normal size at the mall but when I took them home and wore them, they were literally falling off. I went back to the mall and tried on the next size down and they fit perfectly. I couldn’t believe it! I hadn’t worn that size since before I had kids. Diane has really helped me to understand that it’s not only about the number on the scale but also about how your clothes fit and how you feel about yourself. Since I started working with Diane, I have more energy and in taking time to take care of myself, I feel like I can be a better mom and wife. Diane is a great trainer; she really takes the time to listen to your needs and work with you as an individual. She puts together work outs that fit into your life. The focus is on you, which is exactly what I needed. I would recommend Diane’s services to anyone. She really has changed me…not only my size but also how I feel about myself and for that, I am forever grateful.
