New Year Resolutions – or NON-Resolutions [video]

Who came up with the idea of making New Year Resolutions anyway?

The idea that creating a resolution will set us into action on a path to change we’d like to make in the new year, is simply unrealistic.
Since you’ve been watching my 6 Stages of Change video series, you know that Action is the fourth stage in the 6 Stages of Change. Change happens slowly and deliberately and time must be taken to contemplate and figure out what you want your life to be like and then take small steps toward that end.

Determine what you want your life to look like. What are the values you want in your life? How do you want your life to be abundant in every way?

Many times resolutions end in failure. But understanding the 6 Stages of Change and taking small steps toward what you would like your life to look like – will get you faster to the end point than jumping into action first!
