Juicy Juicing – some recipes I share

I just started juicing and I’m actually surprised that I like it! I’m sharing a couple of recipes that I’ve put together. I purchased an inexpensive Breville juicer ($99) because I wasn’t sure the idea would ever get off the ground. I really wanted Bob to get into it, because I’d heard that juicing can reduce cholesterol levels as well as having lots of other health benefits, but so far, I’m the only one who will go near the machine.

Bill has actually developed a superfood that you can add to your juice to make it a complete meal. I’m waiting for my first bottle to arrive as I write this!

Here are the recipes in case you want to try them.

Immune System

1 orange or 2 Clementines

3 strawberries or some blueberries

1 lemon

2 carrots

½” ginger

 

Leaky Gut

¼ red cabbage

4 stalks celery

1 cucumber

2 handfuls spinach

Sauerkraut and/or juice from sauerkraut

 

Breakfast

5 oz. baby spinach leaves

2 apples , cored (seeds are toxic)

2 carrots

2 celery sticks

½ lemon

½” piece of ginger

Pour over ice
